This weekend, I did my first vending event! I was invited to sell my items at an open house. It was small, but very valuable in lessons of what I need to do when I become a serious vendor at events.
One lesson really stuck out at me. One lady bought a little capybara. It was a small purchase, but as she was working the event, I got to watch her. Throughout the rest of the day, she held the capybara in her hand, holding it, smiling at it, and taking photos of it.
And watching her smile at it, I realized something: that’s my goal with my items. I want to make things that make people smile.
